Tri-State Idol Finals

Tri-State Idol Finals will be held on the FCNB Amphitheater.
- Contestants will be selected in preliminary try-outs which will be held at various locations.
- Entry into the championship, which will be held at the 2011 Dyer County Fair, is by invitation only.
- The twenty top singers at the try-outs will be invited to compete for the prize money.
- The try-outs will bring in the top talent from all over West Tennessee and even Missouri.
This contest has proven to be a huge success and the championship at the Fair is a show you won't want to miss!
No purchase necessary. Entrants must try out at preliminary sing-off remotes. Dates and times will be announced on SL100. Twenty finalists will be invited to participate in the championship sing-off to be held on Tuesday night September 6th, 2011 at the Dyer County Fair in the First Citizens National Bank Amphitheater. Entrants must be ready to perform by 6:30 PM. Finalists may use their own music as long as it is on CD. Finalists will compete in the order issued by SL100, which will be by a drawing. This contest is open to amateurs only. If you have ever worked solely as a professional singer you are not eligible. If you placed first in any previous SL100 sing-offs you are not eligible. Winners in the preliminary try-outs will be chosen by a panel of judges and will be notified by phone if selected. Decisions of the judges are final in all matter related to this contest. Contestants will be graded on talent, stage presence, and showmanship. There are no age categories. Contest is open to all U.S. residents. If winner is under 18 years of age, he or she must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Winner will be required to execute an affidavit of eligibility and/or other release. Winner is solely responsible for all insurance and applicable taxes. Contest is not open to employees and their immediate families or WASL/WTRO and Pepsi Colo Bottling Company of Dyersburg. Winner is subject to proving eligibility. Void where prohibited, licensed or taxed by law. Entry in the contest constitutes permission to use entrant's name, voice and likeness for advertising purposes without additional compensation. Winner agrees that WASL/WTRO and Pepsi and their affiliates shall have no liability in connection with acceptance or use of the awarded herein. Sponsor are not responsible for typographical or printing errors. Additional performances may be required to break a tie.
